Support, I am receiving a FETCH ERROR in the portal when trying to load a map overlay in a particular cluster. Please Advise
Solution
- Attempting to recreate the issue while tailing the logs did not prove too helpful as there was no great detail in the logs for this issue.
- In reviewing old emails it was noted a cause for a FETCH ERROR was that the KML files were only present on 1 app handler and not another.
- To see if this was the cause of the issue the files were loaded onto the other app handler.
- Once the Noc portal was refreshed this resolved the error.
- If this is the case it is important to verify the correct functioning of lsync on the server - run through the self assessment here: Distributed File Sharing
- If you have verified that lsync is not running it is necessary to escalate this to a technical point of contact.
