Log Files

There are two log files to monitor for the SNMP Manager:

• SnmpManager.log
• catalina.out

All println statements go to the catalina.out and all log.info statements go to the SnmpManager.log

The catalina.out should always be located in /var/tomcat/SnmpManager/logs on every server.

The SnmpManager.log location can differ depending on the server.

To date it will be located in one of the following directories on a server:

• /home/scotty/logs/grails
• /export/home/scotty/logs/grails
• /usr/local/logs
