**Level:** __Critical__ FIXME



**Purpose:**
Alerts when a handler has been marked as inactive in the snmp_manager.thread_config table

**Scenario:**
The load balancer cannot connect to the handler or the handler has died.

**Resolution:**
Check the handler logs to see if there are any obvious exceptions. Restart the SNMP manager if needed. If this does not clear it, restart the load balancer SNMP manager to allow connection to the handler again.

**Manual Action Steps:**
Restart SNMP manager

**Auto Clear:**
When the logs stop reporting ''HANDLER is DEAD''
