**Purpose:** To check if the Apache httpd service is running. Uses the prometheus apache-exporter service

**Scenario:** The Apache httpd service is not running.

**Resolution:** Restart httpd service and check logs

**Manual Action Steps:** Restart the httpd service

<code>sudo service httpd restart</code>

If it does not restart, check the httpd logs found in **/var/log/httpd/** for any errors and troubleshoot.
