====== Administration: Company Configuration ====== Author: Michelle McCausland ====== Introduction ====== The company configuration settings can be found in the Noc portal admin area (from the Noc portal home page click on manage account): {{ :onboarding:nocportal:8.png?nolink |}} ====== Adding a new company config ====== To add a new company config, click on New CompanyConfig and you will be presented with the following: {{ :onboarding:nocportal:companyconfig.png?nolink |}} * Company Name - Name of the company to which this configuration will belong * SNMP Config - Usually select the default SNMP configuration from the dropdown * Ticketer Config - Select the ticketer configuration from the dropdown * Dig Portal Config - left blank * Layout Theme - You can choose the theme which you wish to have displayed here * Noc Email Address - Email address of associated NOC * Noc Contact Number - Contact number of associated NOC * Reporting Manager URL - URL of reporting manager * SNMP Manager URL - URL of SNMP manager * Ticketer URL - URL of ticketer * Welcome Message - The welcome message that displays on the homepage of the NOC portal * Update Interval in Seconds - How often the NOC portal display will refresh * Branded Image - If there is a logo/image you wish to have associated with this company config you can choose it here from the dropdown menu * Public URL - The public URL associated with this company config * Noc Legend - The default noc legend you wish to be associated with this company config * Sales Legend - The default sales legend you wish to be associated with this company config * Marker Color Config - You can select the color of the company config marker here from the dropdown * Ems Cluster Url – URL template for cluster view in EMS * Ems Network Group Url – URL template for network group view in EMS * Ems Ne Url – URL template for network element (Hub/Node) view in EMS * Pm Workflow – The associated pm workflow configuration for this company configuration. This can be selected from the dropdown. The steps for creating a new pmworkflow and assigning statuses to this workflow are available on the preceding pages. * Activate Server Push – (DIG Portal Functionality) When checked this removes cleared tickets from the list – has no impact on functionality in the NOC Portal but may cause issues if checked. * Overlays - To add a map overlay click Add MapOverlay and select accordingly * Show Off Air in CM – Default to show Off-Air element in CM view * Show Off Air in PM – Default to show Off-Air element in PM view * Users - To add a user click Add ShiroUser and select accordingly Once you are finished filling in the data click the Create button to create the new Company Config. ===== Self Assessment ===== * Where can you create a new company config? * Outline the steps required to change the default welcome message for a specific company config * Outline the steps required to update the logo/ branded imaged for a specific company config
