===== Introduction =====

This section will outline what our customer IDMS production environments are from a high level.

Note: Login credentials to these environments are stored in the password safe. More detail about password safe can be found here: [[onboarding:introduction:getting_setup_with_password_safe|Getting setup with password safe]].

===== IDMS Production Environments =====

As part of our development process, we have [[onboarding:introduction:internal_idms_qa_environments|internal QA environments]], [[onboarding:introduction:customer_idms_qa_environments|customer QA environments]], as well as live production environments.

The **Production Environments** run the live production version of our Errigal IDMS applications.

With that in mind, the production environments should be approached with caution when performing any updates etc. 

Any updates or new features that are developed during the course of a development sprint are deployed to the production environment during the software release process.

Extenet's IDMS applications are hosted on servers in ExteNet and maintained by them.

* Note: The Fiber application is an ExteNet exclusive application that isn't available for other customers.
