When adding colors to text and the background behind text, ensure the font has enough contrast to be read easily.
A good way to verify this is to use this [[https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/|color contrast checker tool]]. If the color combination does not pass, then it should not be used and an alternative color scheme should be determined.
